Xedh / Imbernon es un duo formado por Miguel A. García y Jon Imbernon (Ximel, Le Noise, Gangrened y algunos mas) alla por el 2006. Después de varios improvisaciones y de tocar con Merzbow en el festival MEM del 2006, el proyecto quedo en stand by hasta juntarse de nuevo otra vez en Larraskito en Junio del 2009, donde salieron 2 largas improvisaciones mucho más inspiradas que acabaron en sendos discos “Annekys” CD (Trait Media Works, Oct. 2011) y “Turku” CD-r (For Noise's Sake, Sept. 2010).

Un año después, con Jon ya viviendo en Finlandia, se juntaron de nuevo pero esta vez con cierta predisposición para crear una serie de improvisaciones mas cortas y dinámicas. El resultado, Lo que nos encontramos en ellas, es el tejido de una autentica colision “sonora” entre 2 generos y 2 instrumentos/fuentes de sonido diferentes: unas afiladas guitarras noise no wave sin apenas efectos haciendo uso del instrumento y su electricidad (y un pequeño ampli Fender a tope), con el mejor XEDH a la electrónica, ruidismo y manipulaciones varias, entre otras la guitarra en tiempo real. Pero en “(Ei) ei aalto” no hay lugar solo para el ruido, también tuvo cabida el silencio, minimalismo y la abstracción mas absoluta, como es el caso de “Hay que seguir construyendo”. Todo esto y mas conformaría el disco “(ei) ei aalto”, “(“(no) no wave”)”, que ha estado en el cajón por 10 años y ahora sale a la luz físicamente via Crystal Mine.

Xedh / Imbernon is a duo formed by Miguel A. García (www.xedh.org wordwide known international artist in the noise and experimental scene) y Jon Imbernon (Ximel, Le Noise, Gangrened and some more) in 2006. After few improvisations togheter and supporting Merzbow in the MEM festival in Bilbao, the project started a hiatus till joining again in Larraskito in June 2009, where 2 more inspired and interesting free improvisations happened and that ended up in both separated records “Ännekys “CD (Trait Media Works, Oct. 2011) and “Turku” CD-r (For Noise's Sake, Sept. 2010).

A year after, with Jon living in Finland already, they joined in Larraskito again and there came a bunch of shorter and more dynamic improvisations. Really raw, set up, no pedal effects for example. Creating this way a “sound collision” between, the most striped and raw noise no wave playing and use of the electric instrument: just electric guitar and the hands (and a dirty old fender amp), with the electronics, noise and various manipulations, like guitar in real time, of the best XEDH. But in “(Ei) ei Aalto” there is not only noise. There is also, spontaneous, abstract and minimal passages like in “Hay que seguir construyendo”. All of of this and more is what became the record “(Ei) ei aalto”, which has been kept without physical release for like 10 years till now, when it will be released on tape via Crystal Mine.
