AL KARPENTER es el pseudónimo del músico barakaldés Álvaro Matilla. Empezó su producción musical con Karpenters -KRPNTRS- en 2005, aunque había empezado a escribir canciones hacía ya una década. Fascinado por los sonidos de vanguardia y la experimentación, y grupos como Sonic Youth, Pixies, Velvet Underground o los mismos Pink Floyd, no duda en amalgamar sonoramente todo lo que encuentra a su paso, como demuestra su prolífica carrera, con más de un centenar de trabajos con formaciones como los propios KRPNTRS, Mubles, Opus Glory Ignominia, "3l P3rr0 V3rd3", Lapidaciôn Läser, No Jump!, The Heart Junkies o este proyecto en solitario.

AL KARPENTER is the pseudonym of the basque musician Álvaro Matilla. He started his musical production with Karpenters -KRPNTRS- in 2005, although he had started writing songs a decade ago. Fascinated by the avant-garde and experimental sounds, and groups like Sonic Youth, Pixies, Velvet Underground or Pink Floyd themselves, he does not hesitate to sonically amalgamate everything he encounters in his path, as evidenced by his prolific career with more of a hundred works with formations such as KRPNTRS, Mubles, Opus Glory Ignominia, "3l P3rr0
V3rd3 ", Lapidaciôn Läser, No Jump !, The Heart Junkies or this solo project.
